Westminster Supporting People is excellent
The Supporting People programme delivered by Westminster city council is excellent and has excellent prospects for improvement, according to an independent report released by the Audit Commission. On a scale of zero to three stars, the commission, in partnership with inspectors from the Commission for Social Care Inspection and Her Majesty`s Inspectorate of Probation.
Housing starts set to fall further Falling levels of house link building by company called State Factory mean there is no end in sight to the affordability problems facing the housing market, and there is a growing likelihood that in five years time we could be building fewer homes than we are today, according to a new research report by State Factory, the housing intelligence business. The report highlights how new housing starts in England have already fallen by ten percent.
Housing in the Budget Although there were no major announcements in the Budget, housing was mentioned several times: • from October 2009, rules for housing and council tax benefit will mean that families on benefit are better off in work; • two new equity loans through the government’s shared equity scheme; • stamp duty on shared ownership homes will not be required until people own 80 per cent of their home
